WAL to identify bias in a text. We had to highlight the words that showed Koro Apirana being biased. He would be mean to Kahu because he wanted a boy to be the chief but Kahu was next in line and she is a girl.
I thought this activity was
tricky to find where he was being biased.
easy because I could find the examples.
The hardest part was where it didn’t say it very clearly.
I hope we get to do something like this again.

Well done Vinuth. You were able to identify places in the text where Koro was being unreasonable in how he treated Kahu. He was showing bias against her because she is a girl.
